DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS

Start with the module layout

  • Mark the medical-electronics module on the module or board layout.
  • Check shield installation and connection interfaces against the enclosure and mating assembly.
  • Define project requirements and validation scope before choosing the sample plan.

DRAWINGS & REQUIREMENTS

Project details for a design review

  • A layout showing the medical-electronics module, with dimensions and the drawing revision.
  • Assembly details for shield installation and connection interfaces, including mating parts and available space.
  • Requirements for project requirements and validation scope, plus sample and production quantities.

Sampling before production

Agree on the drawing, manufacturing route and sample scope first. Use the sample to check fit, assembly and the tests required by your project, then confirm the production drawing, inspection plan and packaging.

Samples are paid. Standard samples: 3–5 days. Expedited sampling: 48 hours. Tooling and sample production: 7–10 days. These are sample-stage timings and do not include mass-production delivery; availability and the schedule are confirmed for each project.

TOOLING & SAMPLE VALIDATION

Tooling decisions behind
Medical Electronics EMI Shield.

Ruishuo makes tooling in-house, connecting die design and CAD/CAM simulation with stamping and inspection. The tooling route for your part is reviewed against the agreed drawing, material and assembly requirements.

Translate the application into measurable part requirements.

The application identifies where a shield is used, but the tooling review still needs the actual part and assembly requirements. Use the board layout, component heights and mounting interfaces to define the formed geometry. Sample inspection then checks the mechanical requirements, while the final device provides the conditions for EMI validation.

  • Supply the intended assembly layout and any access or servicing requirements.
  • Mark critical outlines, clearances and contact features on the drawing.
  • Agree sample fit checks and keep system-level EMI targets tied to the customer's test conditions.

Use the sample report to close the drawing review.

Paid samples include a full dimensional inspection report. Ruishuo's inspection equipment includes 2.5D vision measurement systems, CMMs and profile projectors; measurement methods and any additional functional checks are selected for the project. Incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections support the agreed requirements as the part moves into production.
