Mating parts
Provide dimensions and revisions for the frame, lid, PCB or other contact surfaces.
IN-HOUSE TOOLING & DIES
Ruishuo designs and makes tooling in-house. Frame, lid and clip requirements are reviewed by function, connecting die design and CAD/CAM simulation to the cut profile, formed geometry and sample checks.

These workshop photographs show factory tooling work. The die design for your project is determined by the agreed drawing.
Frames, lids and clips perform different jobs in a shielding assembly. Their tooling review should use the relevant mating-part information and installed condition. Specify material grade and thickness together with the critical formed features; a photograph alone cannot define fit, contact behavior or retention.
Review each sample in the condition relevant to its function, using mating parts where applicable. Paid samples include a full dimensional inspection report; additional fit, contact or retention checks are selected and agreed for the project.
This timing covers the sample stage. Mass-production delivery is agreed separately. Standard samples: 3–5 days; expedited sampling: 48 hours, subject to project feasibility.
A shielding assembly can include more than an enclosure. Frames, lids, spring clips or fingers, and mounting brackets serve mounting, coverage, contact and support functions. Each part needs a defined mating component.
Ruishuo Metal supports custom precision-stamped components. When ordering a replacement or separate part, identify the existing component revision; for a complete design, include an assembly drawing.
| Component | Design focus |
|---|---|
| Shielding frame | PCB mounting, boundary and lid fit |
| Removable lid | Coverage, engagement and service access |
| Spring clips and fingers | Contact locations, working clearance and installed fit |
| Brackets and bases | Attachment, locating and grounding features |
For spring clips and fingers, specify the surfaces they contact and the space in which they operate. Free-state dimensions alone do not describe contact conditions after installation.
Beryllium copper and phosphor bronze are material options to assess against the spring-contact requirements. Thickness, finish, contact positions and inspection tasks are established through drawings and approved samples.
A quotation can start from a physical sample, drawing or assembly requirement. These details help make the next engineering discussion more productive.
Provide dimensions and revisions for the frame, lid, PCB or other contact surfaces.
Describe soldering, snap-fit, screw fastening or another mounting method, including access for assembly.
Identify the fit, retention, removal or contact tasks that need to be controlled.
State whether quantities are for individual parts or complete sets, with tray, tape-and-reel or other packaging needs.
Test component samples with the parts they will actually mate with. Retain the agreed part drawings, assembly drawings and sample revision so production does not mix different designs.
Sample fees apply. Standard samples take 3–5 days, expedited sampling 48 hours, and tooling and sample production 7–10 days. These are sample-stage timelines, excluding volume production and delivery, and are confirmed for the suitable sample process.
