Parts and design information

Drawings and approved samples establish the structure and manufacturing requirements. Start with the information you have, then add mating and inspection details.

Can you make custom sizes and shapes?

We can review single enclosures, frame-and-lid, multi-cavity and component designs against your drawings. Include the height, mounting boundary and critical mating features.

Which drawing formats do you accept?

Provide 2D or 3D files such as STEP/STP, DWG/DXF or PDF, with units and a revision identifier.

Can I request a quote with a physical sample?

We can discuss measurement and design review from a sample. State the application, mating parts and requirements that need to be retained.

How should I select the material?

Consider the structure, thickness, soldering, contact and operating environment alongside the surface finish. The product name alone is insufficient for material selection.

Sample charges and lead times

Sample fees apply. Price, quantity and validation scope are agreed with the sample plan.

Are samples free?

No. Sample fees are quoted for the specific part and sampling scope.

How long does sampling take?

Standard samples take 3–5 days; expedited sampling takes 48 hours; tooling and sample production take 7–10 days. These are sample-stage timings, excluding volume production and delivery, and are confirmed for the selected process and plan.

Can CNC samples replace stamped samples?

Select the sample process around the tasks being validated. Before stamped production, confirm the requirements for that manufacturing route and assembly.

What should be checked on a sample?

Check drawing requirements, actual fit and agreed engineering tasks. Retain the approved material and structural revisions.

Quantities, packaging and orders

An order should specify quantity, drawing revision, material, finish, inspection and packaging. Delivery is scheduled against the confirmed order conditions.

What is the MOQ?

The production MOQ is 1,000 pieces. Sample quantities of 50–100 pieces can be discussed for design validation; the quantity is confirmed with the quotation.

What packaging is available?

Discuss tape and reel, trays, blister packaging or antistatic and moisture-protective packaging according to the part and feeding requirements.

How is the production lead time determined?

The baseline volume production timeline is 7–15 days. The actual plan is confirmed against the quantity, material, tooling, finish and packaging requirements.

Can you sign an NDA?

NDA arrangements can be discussed. Agree on the information scope and exchange method before sharing design files.

Performance and compliance verification

Shielding performance depends on the structure, material, grounding, mounting and test conditions. Each product needs validation for its intended system rather than a single generic performance figure.

If you need compliance documents, third-party reports or particular inspections, include the required tasks, conditions and scope in the inquiry. Document delivery follows the agreed requirements.
