Drawing review
Establish the outline, holes, mating geometry, units and critical dimensions.
Precision stamping is a core manufacturing process at Ruishuo Metal for custom shielding cans, frames and related components. Progressive-die options are assessed against the part features, material and production demand.
Before production, agree on more than the outline: critical dimensions, material revision, surface finish, inspection tasks and packaging all belong in the manufacturing specification.
Stamping and deep drawing are manufacturing processes. One-piece, two-piece and multi-cavity describe the structure or compartment arrangement. Define those separately, then review the feasible combinations.
Forming limits and dimensional requirements are established through drawings and approved samples. A process name alone does not establish the part's performance.
| Process | Review focus |
|---|---|
| Precision stamping | Hole locations, bends, frames, mating components and production quantities |
| Deep drawing | Single enclosures, depth, corners and material forming requirements |
| CNC samples | Dimensional and assembly checks within the agreed sample scope |
| Surface finishing | Requirements for soldering, contact and the operating environment |
Tooling design starts from the agreed drawing revision. Evaluate critical dimensions and mating relationships during the sample stage.
Establish the outline, holes, mating geometry, units and critical dimensions.
Select tooling or a sample process for the manufacturing route and check the agreed tasks.
Include material and surface finish in the approved revision, then recheck affected dimensions and assembly.
Agree on packaging and outgoing inspection for the part geometry and customer feeding method.
Sample fees apply. Standard samples take 3–5 days, expedited sampling 48 hours, and tooling and sample production 7–10 days. These sample-stage timelines exclude volume production and delivery and are scheduled against the confirmed plan.
After sample approval, set the volume production schedule around the order quantity, material, tooling, finish and packaging. Delivery milestones are confirmed with the order.
